Die Serie von 2008 resultiert aus einer Recherche der Künstlerin über Widerstandskämpferinnen der Siebziger Jahre. Freiheitskämpferinnen wie Leila Khaled, Susanna Ronconi, Ulrike Meinhoff oder Gudrun Ensslin zeichneten sich durch eine leidenschaftliche Hingabe zu ihren Ideologien und ihrem Leben aus. Sie widersetzten sich dem gesellschaftlich normierten Frauenbild ihrer Zeit, das sich aus Häuslichkeit, Zurückhaltung (insbesondere politischer) und v.a. Muttersein zusammensetzt. Susanna Ronconi beispielsweise entschied sich gegen ihre Schwangerschaft, als es noch strafbar war, abzutreiben, Ensslin und Meinhof waren zwar Mütter, gaben ihre Verantwortung zugunsten der politischen Aktivitäten ab. Die Auseinandersetzung mit den verschiedenen Rollen der Frau und dem damit verbundenen gesellschaftlich Leben.
